Having stayed at the Waterloo a few years ago, we were surprised at the number of recent negative reviews, so we were a little apprehensive before arrival. However the Lodge was immaculate and we enjoyed our meal in the Restaurant. Staff were really helpful as well - no issues at all.

The hotel is clean and wonderful. I was very impressed with the guest room. The staff at the reception desk were outstandingly accommodating and amazingly kind. The central location was convenient, and the staff were very friendly. The sunny conservatory and garden in the lodge were lovely additions.

Hotel looked like it had been recently refurbished.Room was very spacious, clean and tidy. Ate in restaurant and food was fresh cooked, not pre-packed reheated as many establishments now seem to favour. Staff friendly and helpful.
